GARDEN GROVE, CA \u2014 A Stanton man died Sunday when the car he was driving hit a utility pole in Garden Grove, according to authorities.<\/p>\n
Officers with the Garden Grove Police Department responded shortly after 7 a.m. Sunday to the 11200 block of Western Avenue after a call about a 2003 Ford Mustang that had crashed into a utility pole, Sgt. Willie Holloway said.<\/p>\n
“Officers arrived at the scene and found the driver unresponsive,” Holloway said. “Orange County Fire Authority personnel assessed the driver’s injuries, and the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.”<\/p>\n
The investigation was taken over by the department’s Neighborhood Traffic Unit, and the cause of the collision was still under review.<\/p>\n
