Sacramento Ballet is honoring Ron Cunningham for his 30 years with the company and his lasting impact on Sacramento\u2019s artistic community.<\/p>\n

SACRAMENTO, Calif. \u2014 The\u00a0Sacramento Ballet<\/a> is remembering longtime leader Ron Cunningham for his decades of contributions to the organization and the broader arts community.<\/p>\n

In a statement<\/a>, board president Alyssa Paoletti reflected on Cunningham\u2019s impact during his 30 years with the company.<\/p>\n

\u201cRon Cunningham was a pillar of Sacramento’s artistic community, dedicating 30 years to the Sacramento Ballet and shaping it into a vibrant and beloved institution,\u201d Paoletti said.<\/p>\n

Paoletti said Cunningham helped the company grow and develop a wide range of performances during his time with the organization. According to the statement<\/a>, those productions included both classical ballets and new works.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnder his leadership, the company flourished, offering dancers a nurturing and challenging environment, and audiences a rich tapestry of performances that ranged from timeless classics to daring new works,\u201d Paoletti said.<\/p>\n

Paoletti also highlighted Cunningham\u2019s commitment to artistic excellence and community engagement, saying his influence will continue to shape the region\u2019s cultural landscape.<\/p>\n

The Sacramento Ballet<\/a> also shared condolences to Cunningham\u2019s family and loved ones.<\/p>\n
