{"id":212237,"date":"2026-03-09T22:46:09","date_gmt":"2026-03-09T22:46:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/212237\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T22:46:09","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T22:46:09","slug":"hwy-180-99-construction-ramp-closed-traffic-control","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/212237\/","title":{"rendered":"Hwy 180, 99 construction: Ramp closed, traffic control"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Construction will slow traffic along a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo?fbid=1359190272918329&amp;set=a.636330151871015\">key stretch of Highway 180<\/a> for a few days, according to the California Department of Transportation.<\/p>\n<p>Caltrans also plans to close a Highway 99 on-ramp in the Fresno area, the state roads agency announced via Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMotorists should plan accordingly,\u201d Caltrans said via Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s when and where to expect delays.<\/p>\n<p>Highway 180 under traffic control in Fresno<\/p>\n<p>Caltrans closed the park-and-ride facility on westbound Highway 180 at McCall Avenue on Monday, March 9, for \u201clandscaping operations,\u201d the agency said in a Facebook post.<\/p>\n<p>The closure, which began at 8:15 a.m. Monday, was scheduled to end at 2:15 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Highway 180 will be under two-way traffic control between the Friant Canal and Alta Avenue from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, due to \u201cpavement repairs,\u201d Caltrans said.<\/p>\n<p>More pavement repairs are planned on Wednesday, March 11, and Thursday, March 12.<\/p>\n<p>On those days, Highway 180 will be under two-way traffic control from just east of Frankwood Avenue to just east of the Friant Canal from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m..<\/p>\n<p>Caltrans reminded commuters to \u201cobey flagging personnel and pay close attention to road construction vehicles and personnel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When will Highway 99 on-ramp close?
