{"id":212312,"date":"2026-03-09T23:53:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-09T23:53:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/212312\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T23:53:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T23:53:07","slug":"san-jose-sweet-16-concert-series-featuring-shaquille-oneal-canceled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/212312\/","title":{"rendered":"San Jose Sweet 16 concert series featuring Shaquille O&#8217;Neal canceled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/2026\/02\/16\/san-jose-march-madness-concerts-lineup-tickets-sweet-16-shaq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">The Music Mania music festival<\/a>, corresponding to the Sweet 16 NCAA Men\u2019s Basketball games being played at SAP Center in San Jose, has suddenly been canceled.<\/p>\n<p>No word was given on why the series of concerts, headlined by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/2023\/06\/20\/nba-legend-shaquille-oneal-set-to-perform-night-show-for-outside-lands\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">NBA legend Shaquille O\u2019Neal<\/a>, has been nixed.<\/p>\n<p>The only information provided on the event\u2019s ticketing page states: \u201cEvent Cancelled \u2013 more details coming soon! Ticket holders, please keep an eye on your email.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The concert series was originally set to take place March 27-29 at the SoFa Lot at 350 S.
