Finding gas under $5.00 in the Bay Area is typically considered a good deal and especially now. Average gas prices in the nation continue to increase as the war with Iran escalates.<\/p>\n

The average price for regular gas nationwide jumped up nearly 27 cents. As of March 9 in California, gas went up to $5.20 a gallon, up from $4.66 a week before, according to the\u00a0latest data from AAA<\/a>. Bay Area prices range from an average of $5.35 in Napa County to $5.48 in Marin County.<\/p>\n
