A RANCHO CORDOVA MAN IS FACING CHARGES TONIGHT AFTER AUTHORITIES SAY THEY FOUND A ROCKET LAUNCHER IN HIS GARAGE. THE FBI, CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AND SACRAMENTO POLICE SERVED THAT SEARCH WARRANT AT THE SUSPECT\u2019S HOME LAST MONTH, AND AUTHORITIES WERE LOOKING FOR ILLEGAL WEAPONS. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tA man is accused of illegally possessing firearms that include a rocket launcher, California Attorney General Rob Bonta’s office announced Tuesday. Photos released by Bonta’s office show three pistols \u2014 one of them being a machine gun pistol \u2014 a shotgun and an inert rocket launcher seized from the Rancho Cordova man’s home.\u201cOur work to confront gun violence on our streets and in our courtrooms is saving lives, but we know the job is not finished,\u201d Bonta said in a news release. \u201cWeapons of war have no place in civilian hands, and I am grateful they have been taken off our streets.”Agents with the California Department of Justice assisted the FBI and Sacramento Police Department in searching the man’s home on Feb. 10, the release said.Details were not released on the man’s identity, the location of his home and what prompted a search of his residence.
