According to the Anaheim Fire Department, firefighters responded to reports of an unknown odor in a backstage area near the \u2018Star Tours\u2019 attraction in Tomorrowland around 12:30 pm. <\/p>\n
Seven cast members were transported to the hospital after experiencing shortness of breath and dizziness, according to a Disneyland Resort official. Several others were evaluated in the park and did not require transport to the hospital. <\/p>\n
FOX NEWS 11 stated that Firefighters said the park operations were not impacted. <\/p>\n

The cause of the odor still remains unknown. <\/p>\n
A Disneyland Resort official released the following statement about Tuesday\u2019s incident:<\/p>\n
\u201cThis afternoon, building materials being used by a contractor produced a reaction backstage at Disneyland park, and the area was examined by appropriate response teams. Several cast members were treated on-site by paramedics and released; and at this time, five cast members experiencing dizziness and shortness of breath were transported to local hospitals.
