A motorcycle rider from Reedley died Thursday after crashing head-on with another vehicle in Fresno County.<\/p>\n

The collision happened at 6 a.m. on Reed Avenue, north of Annadale Avenue.<\/p>\n

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene and found a 2018 Lexus and a 2022 Honda motorcycle that had collided.<\/p>\n

CHP said the Lexus was going south on Reed and the motorcycle was going north on Reed. The Lexus approached slower-moving traffic and attempted to pass the vehicle ahead by entering the northbound lane, where it collided head-on with the motorcycle.<\/p>\n

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified by the Fresno County Coroner\u2019s Office as Francisco Fonseca Razo, 47, of Reedley.<\/p>\n

The Lexus driver remained on scene and cooperated with officers. The driver was not injured, CHP said<\/p>\n

Alcohol or drugs were not a factor, CHP said.<\/p>\n

The crash remains under investigation..<\/p>\n
