(KFSN) &#8212; Police have arrested a man in connection to a shooting at the Amtrak Station in Downtown Fresno.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police arrested 33-year-old Deandre Dewayne McClain, who&#8217;s accused of shooting at an Amtrak bus driver.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">RELATED: <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/abc30.com\/post\/amtrak-bus-driver-hospitalized-shooting-downtown-fresno-police-say\/18702689\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Amtrak bus driver hospitalized after shooting in Downtown Fresno, police say<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">It happened after midnight Wednesday at Tulare and P Street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police say the driver was cleaning his bus after returning to the station when a man walked up and fired several rounds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The victim ran toward the back of the bus, jumped out the emergency window and broke his ankle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police arrived to find the driver also had a graze wound to his cheek due to broken glass.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">He was taken to CRMC and later released.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">McClain left on foot, but was found Thursday on Blackstone and Holland with the gun, which was reported stolen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">McClain was booked into the Fresno County Jail.<br class=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KFSN-TV.
