Meghan Markle made a surprise visit to Children\u2019s Hospital Los Angeles on Thursday, one week after Netflix cut ties <\/a>with her lifestyle brand, As Ever.<\/p>\n

The hospital documented Markle\u2019s visit on Instagram<\/a>, sharing photos of the Duchess of Sussex spending time with multiple young patients at the facility. <\/p>\n

Markle, who wore a black face mask in all the pictures, sat next to one of the kids in a snapshot.<\/p>\n

In another, she showed a Hello Kitty drawing to a patient.<\/p>\n

The mother of two <\/a>also joined patients and staff for a painting session. <\/p>\n

Markle, 44, wore a white shirt and white pants with a beige sweater for the outing.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday we were honored to welcome LA\u2019s own @meghan, Duchess of Sussex, to CHLA\u2019s Creative Oasis, where she spent time painting alongside our incredible patients,\u201d the hospital captioned its Instagram post.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese special moments are a reminder of how powerful creativity can be in fostering\u00a0joy, connection, and healing,\u201d the post continued.<\/p>\n

The hospital explained that Markle\u2019s visit was part of Make March Matter, their \u201cmonth-long fundraising campaign supporting the lifesaving care, research, and innovation that happens at CHLA every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Markle visited the same hospital<\/a> in 2024 and participated in a Literally Healing\u00a0session, a reading program that gifts families at CHLA more than 65,000 books annually.<\/p>\n

\u201cChildren were laughing and singing as The Duchess turned into character with every page as she read patient favorite books like\u00a0\u2018Rosie the Riveter,\u2019 \u2018Pete the Cat\u2019\u00a0and\u00a0\u2018I Saw a Cat,\u2019\u201d\u00a0CHLA said in a statement at the time. <\/p>\n

Last Friday, Page Six exclusively revealed that Netflix\u00a0ended its partnership with As Ever.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer show did not go on so it did not make sense to continue the partnership,\u201d an industry source exclusively told Page Six, referring to her series,\u00a0\u201cWith Love, Meghan.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

A Netflix spokesperson told us, \u201cMeghan\u2019s passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we are glad to have played a role in bringing that vision to life.\u201d<\/p>\n

An As Ever rep told Page Six that the company \u201cis now ready to stand on its own\u201d and has \u201can exciting year ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following the Netflix fiasco, Markle is headlining a luxury women\u2019s retreat in Australia<\/a> in April that has been criticized for its sky-high price.<\/p>\n

Attendees who want the VIP experience have to pay $2,288, while Early Bird tickets cost $1,930.<\/p>\n

The retreat will take place during Markle and Prince Harry\u2019s upcoming Aussie tour<\/a>, where they\u2019ll take part in several private, business and philanthropic engagements.<\/p>\n
