{"id":219693,"date":"2026-03-14T16:09:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-14T16:09:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/219693\/"},"modified":"2026-03-14T16:09:10","modified_gmt":"2026-03-14T16:09:10","slug":"fresyes-fest-returns-to-downtown-fresno-with-food-music-and-local-vendors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/219693\/","title":{"rendered":"FresYes Fest Returns to Downtown Fresno With Food, Music, and Local Vendors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FresYes Fest, a daylong festival celebrating local food, music, and businesses, will return to downtown Fresno on Saturday, March 21, from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. at 746 Broadway St. The free event is expected to draw more than 20,000 people for its 12th year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverything you like about FresYes out in the street is also out in the stadium this year.\u201d \u2014 Mike Oz, CEO of Fresno Street Eats <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s downtown Fresno\u2019s biggest party,\u201d said Mike \u201cOz\u201d Osegueda, CEO of Fresno Street Eats at the FresYes media event. \u201cIt\u2019s just a great day to bring the community together, highlight the best of Fresno, and have a good time in downtown Fresno.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Organized by Fresno Street Eats, Vendor Village, and Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Company, the festival spans Fulton Street from Mono to Tulare streets, extends from Van Ness Avenue along Inyo Street into Chukchansi Park, and reaches Kern Plaza. This year, the partnership with the Fresno Grizzlies allows the event to expand further into the stadium.<\/p>\n<p><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/gvwire.com\/contact\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"a2t-link\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"GVWire-Ad-Get-our-mobile-app-1280\u00d790-1\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/GVWire-Ad-Get-our-mobile-app-1280x90-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\"   width=\"1280\" height=\"90\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo inside Chukchansi Park, we have a whole family fun zone. We have tons of food trucks. \u2026 That\u2019s the only place in the event that has a full bar,\u201d Oz said. \u201cEverything you like about FresYes out in the street is also out in the stadium this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The festival will feature more than 50 local food vendors and about 80 local makers, crafters, and other vendors. Returning favorites include El Premio Mayor, Tacos La Vaporea, Extreme Forma, and new vendors like Get Loaded, a baked potato truck. It\u2019s about celebrating our city.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Live music will take place across two stages \u2014 the 99 Stage and the 41 Stage, presented by Visit Fresno County \u2014 with this year\u2019s headliner Strange Vine. One DJ stage and various family activities are also planned throughout the downtown footprint.<\/p>\n<p>Oz said planning the event takes months and involves numerous partners, including Fresno Street Eats, Tioga-Sequoia, the Fresno Grizzlies, and the Downtown Fresno Partnership.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt takes about six months and it takes a lot of people bringing their skills and talents to the table,\u201d Oz said.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014<\/p>\n<p>Connect with\u00a0\u00a0on social media.
