Sacramento Kings coach Doug Christie had only nine players in uniform in Wednesday’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets.

Christie might be down to eight available players when the Kings visit the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday at Intuit Dome in Inglewood.

Russell Westbook is expected to return to the lineup after missing Wednesday’s game with a sore quad, but Drew Eubanks has been ruled out due to left thumb soreness and Patrick Baldwin Jr. has been assigned to the G League Stockton Kings.

The Kings (16-51) suffered a 117-109 loss to the Hornets despite getting a season-high 39 points from DeMar DeRozan. Sacramento has the worst record in the Western Conference and the second-worst record in the NBA, one game better than the Indiana Pacers.

The Clippers (34-32) are eighth in the West. They have won four in a row and seven of eight, but they are still 6 ½ games out of the final automatic playoff spot in the West.

The Clippers will be on the second night of a back-to-back after beating the Chicago Bulls 119-108 on Friday. They have yet to submit an injury report for Saturday’s game, but Darius Garland (toe), John Collins (neck), Bradley Beal (hip) and Yanic Konan Niederhauser (foot) missed Friday’s game.

The Kings are listing Malik Monk as questionable as he continues to deal with right ankle soreness. Zach LaVine (finger), Domantas Sabonis (knee), Keegan Murray (ankle), De’Andre Hunter (eye), Devin Carter (calf), Eubanks and Baldwin are out.
