Podcast king Joe Rogan unleashed a profanity-laced tirade about what he called rampant government \u201cwaste and fraud\u201d in California<\/a> \u2014 blasting politicians and pundits who say wealthy taxpayers simply need to \u201cpay their fair share.\u201d<\/p>\n

During a March 10 episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan vented while speaking<\/a> with journalist Michael Shellenberger about California\u2019s homelessness spending and broader allegations of government mismanagement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe thing that drives me the most nuts is when these progressive talking heads saying they don\u2019t want to pay their fair share,\u201d Rogan said.<\/p>\n

Rogan vented while speaking with journalist Michael Shellenberger about California\u2019s homelessness spending.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe thing that drives me the most nuts is when these progressive talking heads saying they don\u2019t want to pay their fair share,\u201d Rogan said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the amount of waste and fraud, why would you,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The outspoken podcaster argued that politicians are ignoring mounting evidence<\/a> of financial mismanagement while continuing to push for more public spending.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t think there should be some accountability to how much f\u2014ing waste and fraud that has been clearly demonstrated?\u201d Rogan said. \u201cLike, the solution is just give more money?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh and they can do it because they have it. So what \u2014 you just give more money and now it\u2019s $30 billion goes to homeless with no accountability?\u201d<\/p>\n

Rogan questioned whether the billions spent by the state and local governments are actually improving conditions.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike where do you think this money is going to go where it\u2019s actually going to help people and affect things in a positive way?\u201d he said. \u201cThere\u2019s been no indication that that\u2019s the case.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also blasted the idea that the core issue is simply that wealthy taxpayers aren\u2019t contributing enough.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat the real problem is they just haven\u2019t had enough money from the billionaires \u2014 that\u2019s f\u2014ing ludicrous,\u201d Rogan said. \u201cIt\u2019s such an intellectually lazy way of framing this whole discussion.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cF-k you, that\u2019s not what\u2019s going on here,\u201d he added. \u201cWhat\u2019s going on here you have a completely incompetent government that\u2019s absolutely corrupt and they want more money.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rogan\u2019s remarks come as multiple investigations have raised serious questions about fraud and oversight failures in California programs \u2014 including a shocking probe into hospice providers<\/a> in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

A recent investigation highlighted a stretch of Los Angeles that has become \u201cground zero\u201d for alleged hospice fraud, where hundreds of hospice companies are registered within just a few miles of each other.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Analysts found that roughly 700 of the approximately 1,800 hospice providers in Los Angeles County show red flags for fraud, according to state criteria.<\/p>\n

Investigators visiting some of the listed locations reportedly discovered empty storefronts and piles of mail, raising concerns that some providers may be shell companies billing Medicare for services that were never delivered.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
