MONTREAL \u2014 Cutter Gauthier<\/a> scored the winner with 2:30 remaining in regulation as the Anaheim Ducks<\/a> edged the Montreal Canadiens<\/a> 4-3 in a thrilling, back-and-forth affair Sunday night.<\/p>\n

Leo Carlsson<\/a> had two goals and an assist while Troy Terry<\/a> scored once with two helpers as Anaheim (37-27-3) moved into first place in the Pacific Division.<\/p>\n

Chris Kreider<\/a> added two assists and Lukas Dostal<\/a> made 27 saves.<\/p>\n

Nick Suzuki<\/a> \u2014 with a goal and an assist \u2014 Alex Newhook<\/a> and Cole Caufield<\/a> replied for Montreal (36-20-10), which lost 3-2 to the San Jose Sharks<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Rookie goalie Jacob Fowler<\/a> stopped 24 shots in his second start since being recalled from the American Hockey League\u2019s Laval Rocket on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Terry, who returned from nine games out with an upper-body injury, tied the game at 15:39 when his pass deflected off the skate of Montreal forward Josh Anderson<\/a> and over Fowler\u2019s left shoulder.<\/p>\n
