After largely staying out of the public eye following a 2012 stroke,\u00a0Tim Curry<\/a> will soon make a special in-person appearance in San Francisco.<\/p>\n Curry, who played Wadsworth the Butler in the 1985 cult classic “Clue,” is expected to join his co-star Lesley Ann Warren at the Curran Theatre on June 6 for a 40th anniversary screening of the film based on the board game of the same name.<\/p>\n The celebration comes just weeks after Curry turns 80 on April 19.<\/p>\n Since his stroke, the star of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show<\/a>” (1975) and “It” (1990), has used a wheelchair for mobility. He writes about his health issues and his long career in his memoir “Vagabond,” which was published in October.<\/p>\n Warren, 79, began her rise on Broadway in the 1960s before breaking into the public consciousness as a regular cast member on “Mission: Impossible” (1970-71), for which she received a Golden Globe nomination. Other than “Clue,” her best remembered film is for her hilarious supporting performance in Blake Edwards’ “Victor\/Victoria<\/a>” (1982).<\/p>\n “Celebrating this fabulous film on this very special 40th Anniversary is an absolute joy for me,” Warren said in a statement. “I adore my \u2018Clue’ fans and look forward to seeing it together on the big screen. No word on which ending will be used during the event at the Curran.<\/p>\n Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 20.<\/p>\n
