An unplanned outage knocked out power to thousands of customers in San Francisco\u2019s Sea Cliff and Outer Richmond neighborhoods\u00a0Sunday morning, according to Pacific Gas and Electric Co.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A PG&E representative said power went out around 8:54 a.m. for more than 3,600 customers in the area, which includes residential neighborhoods and the Lands End hiking trails.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The company said it\u00a0restored power to all customers by 10:26 a.m., about two hours earlier than anticipated. \u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThe cause is still being investigated,\u201d a PG&E representative said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
