\n Faraday Future is moving its headquarters to 1990 E. Grand Ave. in El Segundo, California.\n <\/p>\n
Faraday Future<\/a>\u00a0announced\u00a0Sunday it would relocate to a new headquarters in El Segundo<\/a> from its current location in Gardena.\u00a0<\/p>\n The move comes after more than a year of looking for a new space, according to the release<\/a>. The property at 1990 E. Grand Ave. in El Segundo is the former Stamps.com office. It\u2019s unclear\u00a0what the new office’s square footage is.\u00a0<\/p>\n The electric mobility company’s\u00a0new home is owned by an entity connected to New York investment management firm Fortress Investment Management<\/a>, according to property records. Fortress bought the property from the parent company of Stamps.com in 2021, paying just under $72.3M, property records show.\u00a0<\/p>\n Faraday Future\u2019s move will be complete by the end of this month, John Schilling, a representative for the company, told Bisnow in an email.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cBy situating our headquarters in El Segundo, adjacent to Manhattan Beach<\/a> and the greater South Bay innovation corridor, we are aligning our company with a region defined by leadership, innovation, and growth,\u201d Schilling said.\u00a0<\/p>\n In March 2025, Faraday Future\u00a0announced<\/a>\u00a0it had secured $41M in new cash financing, bringing total fundraising since September 2024 to over $100M.\u00a0<\/p>\n El Segundo and other South Bay cities have been recent beneficiaries of growing aerospace and defense companies<\/a>\u00a0needing more space. The region also has a long history as a home to those industries.\u00a0<\/p>\n Faraday Future is leaving behind approximately 147K SF in Gardena. In 2019, Faraday Future\u00a0sold its Gardena offices<\/a>\u00a0to New York-based Atlas Capital Group<\/a>\u00a0and had been leasing the space back for an undisclosed amount.\u00a0<\/p>\n Property records indicate that Atlas Capital bought the office space at 18455 S. Figueroa St. and 501 W. 190th St. for $29M, more than double the roughly $13.3M Faraday Future paid for the property in 2014.\u00a0<\/p>\n Atlas also cashed in on the office complex. In 2022, it sold the Gardena property to Rexford Industrial Realty<\/a> for $64.3M in\u00a0an off-market transaction<\/a>, property records show.
