Trevor Zegras, now with the Flyers after being traded from the Anaheim Ducks in June 2025, expressed positive feelings about returning to Anaheim for a game against his former team.<\/p>\n

In recent comments ahead of the matchup at Honda Center, Zegras said it\u2019s \u201cdefinitely good to be back,\u201d noting he has \u201ca lot of love for this area\u201d and the people there. He highlighted how the fans and community \u201cwere always so good to me\u201d and \u201cmade it a lot of fun to come to work and play for the Ducks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zegras also described the return as feeling good, especially seeing the fans \u201cloud and proud,\u201d and anticipated it being a motivating yet cool experience overall\u2014more emotional than his prior game against Anaheim (an earlier Flyers-Ducks matchup where he had a strong performance and called it \u201cf***ing amazing\u201d).Zegras has been thriving in Philadelphia this season, reaching 50+ points (with 21 goals and 29 assists through recent games), showing renewed confidence and production after injury-plagued and challenging final years in Anaheim. <\/p>\n
