(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 The Kern County Coroner\u2019s Office revealed the cause and manner of death for a<a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/calosha-investigates-death-of-employee-found-unresponsive-in-wasco-jumper-avenue-safety-violations-regulations-kern-county-coroner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> man who died at a workplace in Wasco.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cal\/OSHA said they were investigating a workplace death reported on January 30, 2026, in Wasco.<\/p>\n<p>According to Cal\/OSHA, preliminary information found that the incident happened at Solo Dairy and involved an employee of Wasco Tire Service.<\/p>\n<p>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/calosha-investigates-death-of-employee-found-unresponsive-in-wasco-jumper-avenue-safety-violations-regulations-kern-county-coroner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Cal\/OSHA investigates death of employee found unresponsive in Wasco<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Kern County Coroner\u2019s Office identified the man as 27-year-old Ronald Amilcar Angel Guardado of Shafter.<\/p>\n<p>The report said Guardado was found unresponsive. The report said the cause of death was determined to be traumatic asphyxia, and the manner of death is accident.<\/p>\n<p>Under California law, Cal\/OSHA has up to six months to complete its investigation and issue citations if violations of workplace safety regulations are identified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
