The rider was struck by a passing vehicle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Emergency responders arrived at the scene but the rider was pronounced deceased. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
