BOISE, Idaho \u2013 No. 31 San Diego State women\u2019s tennis suffered just its second loss of the season on Sunday, falling 4-2 to Boise State on the road.<\/p>\n
The Aztecs fall to 11-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play while the Broncos improve to 10-3 and 3-0 in the Mountain West.<\/p>\n
San Diego State continued its doubles winning streak, capturing its 11th straight doubles point with wins on courts one and three. Gloria Alogo<\/a> and Liisa Varul<\/a> earned a 6-2 win over Carla Grignac and Lorelyz Marruffo in the third spot before No. 50 Jo-Yee Chan<\/a> and Vessa Turley<\/a> clinched the point with a 6-4 win against Tereza Polakova and Zdena Safarova on the top court. Jayna Clemens<\/a> and Ninon Martinache<\/a> were downed 7-5 by Stella Beldiman and Paula Schaefer on court two.<\/p>\n The Broncos rallied in singles competition, winning four straight. Clemens fell 6-2, 6-1 to Allison Isaacs in the fourth spot while Chan was tripped up 6-1, 6-4 by Safarova on court one and Teja Tirunelveli<\/a> was bested 6-4, 7-5 by Schaefer on the fifth court.
