LA JOLLA, Calif. \u2013\u00a0UC San Diego junior\u00a0Aidan Burke<\/a>\u00a0has been named to the Academic All-District Team as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday. Burke is an honoree at UC San Diego for the second consecutive season.
\n\u00a0
\nAidan Burke<\/a>\u00a0(Los Gatos, Calif.) is a business economics major with a 3.84 grade point average. On the court, Burke played in all 34 games this season, making 17 starts. He averaged 6.2 points per game, shooting 44%.
\n\u00a0
\nThe 2025-26 Academic All-District\u00ae Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America\u00ae program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions \u2014 NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA \u2014 for each gender.

\nTo be eligible, student-athletes must hold a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and must have played in 90% of the team’s games. Freshmen are not eligible for consideration.

\nThis season, the Tritons won 23 games under first year head coach Clint Allard, the second-most in the program’s Division I era.\u00a0<\/p>\n
