HUNTINGTON PARK \u2013 Community members will address the Huntington Park city council, asking for the removal of Councilman Arturo Flores after a woman came forward alleging sexual assault.<\/p>\n
Fatima Rodriguez-Ortiz filed the order against Flores on Dec. 18, 2025. It was made public on a Facebook page dedicated to exposing government-related issues.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to the minute order<\/a> published to the court\u2019s website on January 8, 2026, Rodriguez-Ortiz declined to move forward with her restraining order request.<\/p>\n The community believes city manager Ricardo Reyes covered the matter up, and they are now seeking the removal of both.<\/p>\n The Los Angeles County District Attorney\u2019s office confirmed to 2 Urban Girls there are no criminal charges pending against Flores, according to the department\u2019s public information officer.<\/p>\n The community plans to address their concerns during today\u2019s scheduled city council meeting that begins at 6:00 p.m.<\/p>\n View the minute order dismissing the case here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
