Michelin announced new additions<\/a> Wednesday to its California Michelin Guide<\/a>, the prestigious list that recognizes the top restaurants across the state, and six Los Angeles spots made the cut.<\/p>\n

\u201cMichelin Guide inspectors spend the entire year on the road seeking out the best restaurants to recommend \u2014 and what they\u2019ve found is too good to keep a secret,\u201d Michelin Guide wrote on its website.<\/p>\n

Here are the six LA standouts that won over inspectors in March 2026:<\/p>\n

Corridor 109<\/p>\n

Tucked behind a door at Bar 109, this tiny restaurant<\/a> on North Western Avenue in Melrose Hill features an intimate, 11-seat counter and a menu focused on raw fish from Japan.<\/p>\n

Firstborn<\/p>\n

This Chinese American restaurant in Chinatown debuted last March on North Broadway. Owner and Chef Anthony Wang\u2019s new prix fixe menu<\/a> is priced at $68 and includes four courses (three savory, plus a dessert). Michelin touts<\/a> its \u201cwelcoming and comfortable\u201d dining room and \u201cwell-organized kitchen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lapaba<\/p>\n

This new pasta bar<\/a> on South Western Avenue in Koreatown debuted in February. The restaurant offers Italian dishes \u201creimagined with a Korean twist,\u201d like Bulgogi meatballs in a truffle tomato sauce and paired with milk bread.<\/p>\n

Little Fish Melrose Hill<\/p>\n

Expanding from its Echo Park window at Dada Market, this full-service, sit-down restaurant opened on Melrose Avenue last December with chefs Anna Sonenshein and Niki Vahle at the helm. The West Coast-style seafood menu is all about sustainably sourced fish and California produce, with options like the brand\u2019s beloved fried fish sandwich or a tuna melt on rye for lunch<\/a> and Dungeness crab for dinner<\/a>. Michelin said the Little Fish menu is \u201cprecise in execution, with confident seasoning, technique and a clear respect for ingredients.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lugya\u2019h by Poncho\u2019s Tlayudas<\/p>\n

Tucked inside LA\u2019s Maydan Market on West Jefferson Boulevard, this casual restaurant<\/a> specializes in Oaxacan cuisine, specifically Chef Alfonso Martinez\u2019s tlayudas<\/a>. According to the restaurant\u2019s website<\/a>, the menu \u201cfeatures dishes that Chef Poncho prepares for his family and friends, as well as traditional foods enjoyed at weddings and patron celebrations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zira Uzbek Kitchen<\/p>\n

This restaurant<\/a> on Melrose in the Fairfax District opened in November 2024. The menu<\/a> focuses on the flavors of owner Azim Rahmatov\u2019s native Uzbekistan, touting itself as the \u201csole authentic Uzbek cuisine destination in Los Angeles.\u201d Michelin called out the spot\u2019s \u201cengaging ambience complete with tile floors, pale stucco walls and wood furnishings decorated with ikat fabrics and pillows.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles restaurants are among the 12 latest additions to the California Michelin Guide. The other six additions are in Menlo Park, Montecito, and San Francisco.<\/p>\n
