Each night will carry a theme inspired by the colors of the rainbow, with fans encouraged to dress accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>The residency will be split into two- and three-night blocks, with no repeated songs within each block.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets go on sale via <a href=\"https:\/\/mymorningjacket.com\/#tour\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer nofollow\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">the band\u2019s website<\/a> at 10 a.m. Friday, April 3, with presales beginning March 31.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Fillmore \u2014 Anyone who knows us knows what a sacred place this is to the band and to music in general,\u201d My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James wrote in a statement. \u201cAll of the history. All of the legends. All of the peace, love and mind-blowing music created by so many artists within those hallowed walls over so many years. \u2026 We look forward to laughing, dancing and singing together while celebrating every color of the rainbow and all of the beauty, diversity and magic in this wild, wonderful world!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Outside of the San Francisco shows, My Morning Jacket currently only has some festival appearances announced.<\/p>\n<p>The band has remained active in recent years. It released its <a href=\"https:\/\/riffmagazine.com\/album-reviews\/mmj-my-morning-jacket\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">self-titled album in 2021<\/a> and followed with <a href=\"https:\/\/riffmagazine.com\/album-reviews\/my-morning-jacket-is\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Is in 2025<\/a>, its first project produced by an outside collaborator.
