After Daniels\u2019 Oscar sweep back in 2023, the pair quietly cooked up this mystery project, which Universal dated for a November 19, 2027 release. <\/p>\n<p>The film will reportedly feature a young ensemble \u2014 but the studio wanted a heavyweight to lead the charge <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/03\/ryan-gosling-secret-daniels-movie-1236765701\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">according to Deadline<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cProject Hail Mary\u201d just blasted off with a jaw-dropping $141 million global debut, including $80 million stateside \u2014 the biggest non-sequel March opening ever. It\u2019s already rocketed past $100 million domestically and is racking up rave reviews, landing as Gosling\u2019s highest-rated film yet.<\/p>\n<p>And he\u2019s not leaving space anytime soon.
