FRESNO, Calif. \u2013\u00a0Highlighted by freshman Daphne Iosua’s<\/a> performance, the Pacific men’s and women’s track program competed for two days at the West Coast Relays, hosted by Fresno State at Veterans Memorial Stadium.<\/p>\n

Iosua captivated the Tigers with a first-place nod in the women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase, clocking a time of 11:21.45 in that event.<\/p>\n

In the women’s 1,500-meter run, sophomore Angelina Lione<\/a> posted a runner-up finish with a time of 4:34.23.<\/p>\n

The men’s 5,000-meter run also a runner-up finish for the Tigers as junior Samuel Lanham<\/a> crossed the finish line with a time of 14:55.87.<\/p>\n

A top three finish came for junior Logan Evans<\/a>, who competed in the men’s 3,000-meter steeplechase, completing his race at 9:28.32.<\/p>\n

Up next, the Tigers will run in a pair of events next week at the Stanford Invitational and the Mike Fanelli Track Classic from Friday, April 3 to Saturday, April 4.<\/p>\n
