LimeGlider,<\/a> a two-wheel, sit-down vehicle without any pedals. LA will now become one of the first in the world to get the company\u2019s latest mobility option.<\/p>\nThe Glider is essentially a cross between a stand-up scooter and a bike. It sits lower to the group, swaps pedals for footrests, and aims to make short trips much more comfortable for riders who prefer to be seated and are not able to pedal for long periods of time. Lime says the model includes a larger padded seat and an upsized front basket to make errands and commuter hops easier.<\/p>\n
Lime is continuing to expand its fleet after adding bikes to its offerings in April.<\/p>\n
