(FOX26) \u2014 A driver was killed after crashing into a palm tree on Kearney Avenue on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>CHP responded to a solo car crash in the area of Kearney Avenue west of Dickenson, a bit after 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>According to the investigation, a Chevy Malibu was traveling westbound on Kearney Avenue at a high rate of speed when the driver allowed the car to veer south and leave the roadway. <\/p>\n<p>The car then crashed into a palm tree, which resulted in the driver being ejected from the car.<\/p>\n<p>Despite life-saving measures, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>CHP says that alcohol may have played a factor in this crash.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"FRESNO, Calif.
