{"id":24509,"date":"2025-10-26T20:18:14","date_gmt":"2025-10-26T20:18:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/24509\/"},"modified":"2025-10-26T20:18:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-26T20:18:14","slug":"new-details-emerge-in-south-sacramento-barricade-arrest-illegal-narcotics-found","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/24509\/","title":{"rendered":"New details emerge in South Sacramento barricade arrest, illegal narcotics found"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">(FOX40.COM) \u2014\u00a0New information has emerged regarding Saturday night\u2019s arrest of a<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/articles\/armed-suspect-threatens-shoot-family-004250791.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:barricaded suspect who threatened to shoot his family;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> barricaded suspect who threatened to shoot his family<\/a>, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">SCSO said deputies responded to reports of 32-year-old Duke Van Le holding two handguns and threatening his family members before 4:30 p.m. on the 8300 block of Daylight Court.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Deputies were able to evacuate the suspect\u2019s parents and niece.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Multiple law enforcement agencies were called, and Le surrendered peacefully after an hour-long barricade, SCSO said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to the sheriff\u2019s office, three bottles of illegal narcotics, along with two loaded handguns, one unregistered and the other reported stolen out of Stockton, were found during the execution of a search warrant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Le was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on narcotics-related charges. His bail is set for $500,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, SCSO said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
