Huge Egg hunt: There will be 20,000 eggs for the event from 10 a.m. to noon April 4 at Encinitas Community Park, 425 Santa Fe Drive. The Encinitas Historical Society offers monthly walking tours of downtown Encinitas on the third Saturday of every month in 2026. The tours start at 10 a.m. leaving from the 1883 One-Room Schoolhouse located at 390 West \u201cF\u201d Street. There is plenty of free parking nearby. On April 18, the tour will cover the north end of Coastal Encinitas from \u201cF\u201d to Encinitas Blvd.There is a nominal charge of $10 per person. Minor children and dogs are always free. Head and Neck Cancer Support Group April 9<\/p>\n
April is National Head and Neck Cancer Month, and Scripps Cancer Center will host a free support group specifically for patients affected by these cancer types. This includes cancers of the lip, mouth, upper throat (nasopharyngeal), middle throat (oropharyngeal), lower throat (hypopharyngeal), voice box (laryngeal), salivary gland and metastatic squamous neck cancer.
