A helicopter will drop more than 15,000 marshmallows, and children need to collect only one marshmallow that can be exchanged for a prize. There will be four total drops. The first of three drops for ages 12 and under will begin at 10 a.m. with a drop for individuals with disabilities of all ages beginning at 11 a.m. The event is free, no pets, only service animals, presented by Oakland County Park and Recreation, oaklandcountyparks.com, 248-858-0916, participants are encouraged to arrive early for parking.
