The FIFA World Cup 2026 field is set, with the final batch of competing nations punching their ticket this week via Union of European Football Associations playoff qualifier tournaments.<\/p>\n
So who will come to California?<\/p>\n
The Balkan nation of Bosnia and Herzegovina earned the final slot in Group B with a Tuesday playoff win over Italy. They will face Switzerland on June 18 and Team USA on June 25, both at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles County.<\/p>\n
Turkey toppled Kosovo for a spot in Group D. Turkey will play June 19 against Paraguay at Levi\u2019s Stadium in Santa Clara.<\/p>\n
Those determinations complete the World Cup\u2019s 48-team draw, as well as the full schedule, as North America for the first time serves as host. Stadiums across the U.S., Mexico and Canada will split the honors.<\/p>\n
California\u2019s two NFL venues \u2014 Levi\u2019s Stadium, home to the San Francisco 49ers, and SoFi Stadium, home to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers \u2014 will combine to host 10 group stage matches, three round-of-32 matches and one quarterfinal.<\/p>\n
