By establishing a lab in this location, SSI aims to better understand customer needs and collaborate with cutting-edge AI startups and life science technology companies in the region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The South San Francisco Lab will focus on three key research areas: (1) analytical methods for Drug Delivery Systems (DDS), including lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) and adeno-associated viruses (AAVs); (2) new solutions for bioprocessing and preparative purification; and (3) cell culture solutions. Planned instrumentation includes the LCMS-8060RX triple quadrupole LC-MS, the Nexera ultra high-performance liquid chromatograph, the Nexera UC supercritical fluid chromatograph, the FFF-C8030 centrifugal field-flow fractionation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Japan&#8217;s Shimadzu Corporation has positioned North America as a strategic focus area and is committed to expanding its business.
