The so-called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/2026\/03\/25\/fifa-announces-latest-phase-of-world-cup-ticket-sales\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Last-Minute Sales Phase is open to everyone on a first-come, first-served basis<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 2026 World Cup is the first with 48 teams; 32 of those teams qualify to the second round. The last six teams qualified on March 31: Four European teams (Turkey, Sweden, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Czechia), Congo DR and Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>The Bay Area will host six matches at Levi\u2019s Stadium between June 13 and July 1. Five of them are group phase matches, and one is during the round of 32.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/2026\/03\/31\/turkey-bay-area-world-cup-playoff\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Turkey joins Qatar, Switzerland, Austria, Jordan, Algeria and Australia<\/a> among the teams to play in those five group games in the Bay Area. The round of 32 match will include the winner of Group D, which could be the U.S. national team.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/2026\/04\/01\/fifa-technical-difficulties-world-cup-ticket-sales\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">After a very long wait,<\/a> this news organization got access to FIFA\u2019s official ticket portal after 3:30 p.m. PT on April 1. A search for tickets for all Bay Area games showed extremely limited availability, with several matches completely sold out. Tickets for second-phase games, including the round of 32, were not available.<\/p>\n<p>As of April 1 at 3:45 p.m. PT, these were the prices and games available:<\/p>\n<p>Qatar vs. Switzerland on June 13: Sold out<br \/>\nAustria vs. Jordan on June 16: Availability for Category 2 ($380), Category 3 ($380) and Category 1 Wheelchair ($450)<br \/>\nParaguay vs. Turkey on June 19: Sold out<br \/>\nAlgeria vs. Jordan on June 22: Availability for Category 2 ($380), Category 3 ($140), Category 1 Wheelchair ($450) and Category 2 Wheelchair ($380)<br \/>\nParaguay vs. Australia on June 25: Availability for Category 1 ($450) and Category 2 ($380), with very few tickets remaining<br \/>\nRound of 32 on July 1: Not available<\/p>\n<p>Other matches available included USA vs. Paraguay in Los Angeles on June 12, with tickets selling for $1,940 and $2,750.<\/p>\n<p>Demand for World Cup tickets is high, so there\u2019s a big chance that availability of tickets for these games will change in the coming hours or days.
