A 48-year-old construction worker hired to work on a Riverside County home was arrested after investigators say they found evidence he burglarized one of his client\u2019s houses.<\/p>\n

The April 1 incident occurred just before 11:30 a.m., according to a news release<\/a> from the Riverside County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Deputies responded to a home after receiving reports of a residential burglary. The victims told investigators they found Jason George Graham, a Riverside resident they had hired to work on their property, attempting to pry open a safe inside the house.<\/p>\n

Graham reportedly fled the scene when confronted. Afterward, the homeowners discovered several items had been stolen from the residence.<\/p>\n

Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff\u2019s Office Lake Mathews Station later located Graham\u2019s vehicle near Magnolia Avenue and Pierce Street in Riverside. With assistance from the department\u2019s Special Enforcement Team, they conducted a traffic stop on the eastbound 91 Freeway.<\/p>\n

\u201cGraham was transported to the Lake Mathews Sheriff Station for an interview, and his vehicle was towed to the station for processing,\u201d investigators said.<\/p>\n

Deputies executed a search warrant on the vehicle and recovered evidence related to the burglary, along with items they said may be connected to other burglaries. Investigators also reported that Graham was in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.<\/p>\n

Graham was booked at the Robert B. Presley Detention Center on suspicion of residential burglary, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.<\/p>\n

The investigation remains ongoing. The Riverside County Sheriff\u2019s Office believes there may be additional victims and is asking anyone with information to contact Investigator Andrews or Master Investigator Juarez at the Lake Mathews Station at 951-272-5600.<\/p>\n
