FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Three teens were stabbed after a fight broke out at the River Park Shopping Center.<\/p>\n
According to Fresno police, around 10 p.m. on Thursday, a fight broke out between a group of approximately 10 teens just outside the Regal theater.<\/p>\n
Three of the teenagers, two boys and one girl, were stabbed in the torso.<\/p>\n
Officers say they found one of the victims in front of the theater. The other two victims were able to get into a vehicle and were taken to a corner on Blackstone and Nees Avenues, where they called 911.<\/p>\n
One of the boys was taken to the hospital with severe injuries and is undergoing surgery.<\/p>\n
The other two victims are expected to live.<\/p>\n
Officers have detained two other teenagers, but they have not been arrested. Their ages range from 13 to 15 years.<\/p>\n
The rest of the teens involved in the fight fled the scene.<\/p>\n
Officers say a bystander who witnessed the fight was also punched.<\/p>\n
It is unknown what exactly was used in the stabbings and if it was gang-related.<\/p>\n
