SARATOGA\u00a0\u2013 The California softball team fell to Louisville, 6-3, on Friday afternoon at Viking Field. The loss sets up a rubber match in the series on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Louisville jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Bears responded in the second with back-to-back home runs to even the score at 2-2. Carly Raven<\/a> and Anaya Togia<\/a> launched their eighth and sixth homers of the season, respectively, to get Cal on the board.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n The Cardinals regained the lead in the third and added three more runs in the fourth to stretch the advantage to 6-2.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Cal scored once in the bottom of the seventh to bring the final score to 6-3.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n With the loss, the Bears fall to 13-26 overall and 3-11 in ACC play. Cal and Louisville return to action Saturday to decide the series.
