A person was shot Saturday morning near Parkmerced, south of San Francisco\u2019s Stonestown Galleria mall, police said.<\/p>\n
Officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly before noon at Cambon and Cardenas streets, just west of 19th Avenue.<\/p>\n
They arrived to find a victim\u00a0 suffering from a gunshot wound, and transported them to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Officers searched the area but did not locate a suspect. No arrests have been made.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Lakeshore area, which includes Parkmerced, saw a modest increase in crime last year, according to police data,<\/a> with assaults up to 91 in 2025 from 69 in 2024.
