Los Gatos<\/a> had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Bakersfield Christian<\/a> on Thursday. The Wildcats blew past the Eagles 12-3. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.<\/p>\n Gavin Seiler<\/a> looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. What’s more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he’s had since back in May of 2025.<\/p>\n At the plate, Chase Frolich<\/a> was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Simon<\/a>, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.<\/p>\n Los Gatos kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bakersfield Christian only managed five.<\/p>\n The victory was the third in a row for Los Gatos, bringing their record up to 12-2. As for Bakersfield Christian, they have been struggling recently as they’ve lost three of their last four matchups. That’s put a noticeable dent in their 8-4-1 record this season.<\/p>\n Los Gatos will challenge Friendship Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bakersfield Christian, they will take on Ridgeview at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The game will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.<\/p>\n
