FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) \u2014 A woman was found dead in a canal after a crash on Monday morning in Fresno.<\/p>\n
The crash is at McKinley Avenue and Fresno Street, near Highway 41.<\/p>\n
The Fresno Police Department says officers were first called out to a crash around 1:57 a.m.<\/p>\n
When officers arrived, they found one vehicle in a canal and another in the road, with a woman also found in the canal outside of the vehicle.<\/p>\n
She was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
McKinley Avenue is closed between Fresno and Orchard Streets.<\/p>\n
The crash is still under investigation, and the street will be closed until around 9 AM.<\/p>\n
