SAN ANTONIO – Months after admitting to an affair with a former staffer, U.S. Rep. Tony Gonzales faces new allegations of inappropriate conduct with other members of his team.<\/p>\n

The San Antonio Express-News<\/a> reported new evidence suggesting Gonzales sent explicit messages to more than one employee. <\/p>\n

Earlier this year, he admitted to an affair with Regina Santos Aviles, a former staff member. That relationship became public following her death by suicide last fall; however, Gonzales has repeatedly stated that her death was unrelated to their relationship.<\/p>\n

Gonzales, who recently withdrew from a runoff election for his House seat<\/a>, is now the subject of a new report featuring message screenshots from 2020, that appear to be between Gonzales and his former political director, who told the Express-News that he asked her for nude photos on several occasions.<\/p>\n

The former staffer said she never did, but alleged that Gonzales continued to pressure her to make their professional relationship sexual.<\/p>\n
