Civil engineering rose to the top spot, while industrial engineering moved from third to second this year. Other No. 1 placements include computer engineering, electrical engineering and environmental engineering.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConsidering these high rankings, it is notable that many of our departments are much smaller in size than their peers,\u201d said Mark Asta, dean designate of Berkeley Engineering. \u201cThe results show how we continue to punch above our weight, and I think that\u2019s a testament to the excellence of our faculty, students and staff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The full list of Berkeley Engineering rankings are <a href=\"https:\/\/engineering.berkeley.edu\/about\/rankings\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">online<\/a>.
