{"id":255912,"date":"2026-04-07T16:15:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-07T16:15:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/255912\/"},"modified":"2026-04-07T16:15:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T16:15:08","slug":"pontiac-man-struck-killed-by-oncoming-vehicle-on-woodward-avenue-deputies-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/255912\/","title":{"rendered":"Pontiac man struck, killed, by oncoming vehicle on Woodward Avenue, deputies say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man died after he was struck by a vehicle while trying to run across traffic lanes in Oakland County, Michigan, deputies said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The victim, a 59-year-old man from Pontiac, died at the scene as a result of his injuries, the Oakland County Sheriff&#8217;s Office said. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The crash happened about 9:30 a.m. Monday in the southbound lanes of Woodward Avenue, south of South Boulevard, near Trinity Oakland Hospital in Pontiac.
