SAN JOSE \u2013 With the San Jose Sharks in the mix<\/a> for their first Stanley Cup playoff appearance in seven years, the team is putting postseason tickets on sale.<\/p>\n

The Sharks on Tuesday announced that tickets<\/a> for the first three playoff home games at\u00a0SAP Center will go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. (PDT). Dates and start times for those games are still to be determined.<\/p>\n

Tickets will be available at\u00a0www.ticketmaster.com\/sanjosesharks<\/a>. Individuals can purchase up to eight tickets per game.<\/p>\n

Sharks365 members, full-season ticket holders, Shark Pak holders, and suite holders are entitled to presale opportunities.<\/a><\/p>\n

If the Sharks do not make the playoffs, Ticketmaster will issue refunds, per a team spokesperson.<\/p>\n

Following their 3-2 win<\/a> over the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday, the Sharks, as of Tuesday, were in 10th place<\/a> in the Western Conference with 81 points, two behind the Los Angeles Kings for the final playoff spot with one game in hand.<\/p>\n

The Sharks have six regular-season games<\/a> left, including Wednesday\u2019s home game against the Edmonton Oilers. San Jose\u2019s final regular-season game is on April 16 on the road against the Winnipeg Jets.<\/p>\n

If the Sharks make the playoffs, it will most likely be as the West\u2019s second wild card team,<\/a> with the conference-leading Colorado Avalanche being their most likely opponent.<\/p>\n

If that is the case, the first two games of the best-of-seven series will be in Denver, followed by San Jose hosting the third and fourth games. The Sharks would also host a Game 6 if necessary, with Colorado hosting Games 5 and 7.<\/p>\n

Presale single-ticket prices, as of Tuesday afternoon, on Ticketmaster for what would be the Sharks\u2019 first playoff home game<\/a> started around $80 in the upper bowl, with more expensive seats available in the lower bowl. Prices were similar for the second<\/a> and third<\/a> home games.<\/p>\n

San Jose has not made the postseason since 2019.
