(Photo courtesy of Qualcomm)<\/p>\n<p>Shares of <a href=\"http:\/\/qualcomm.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Qualcomm<\/a> rose over 20% on Monday following introduction of a new artificial intelligence product for large data centers.<\/p>\n<p>The stock briefly reached $205.95 per share, up 21.9% from the opening price on NASDAQ, then settled to around $190, still well over 10% higher.<\/p>\n<p>The San Diego-based wireless pioneer introduced its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qualcomm.com\/news\/releases\/2025\/10\/qualcomm-unveils-ai200-and-ai250-redefining-rack-scale-data-cent\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">AI200 and AI250<\/a> chip-based accelerator cards and racks offering \u201csuperior memory capacity for fast generative AI inference\u201d in data centers.<\/p>\n<p>The company said the new technology will allow its customers to deploy generative AI in a cost-effective way while  maintaining flexibility and security.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, CEO Cristiano Amon announced an agreement to deploy the new technology for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humain.ai\/en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">HUMAIN<\/a>, a Saudi Arabian AI company.<\/p>\n<p>HUMAIN is planning to build 200 megawatts of data center capacity using\u00a0Qualcomm\u2019s AI200 and AI250 rack solutions\u00a0to deliver high-performance AI inference services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and globally. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith Qualcomm\u2019s world-class AI infrastructure solutions, we\u2019re shaping the foundation of the kingdom\u2019s AI future,\u201d said CEO Tareq Amin. \u201cThis collaboration unites HUMAIN\u2019s deep regional insight and unique full AI stack capabilities with Qualcomm\u2019s unmatched semiconductor technology and product leadership.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Qualcomm\u2019s Amon said the new AI data centers powered by Qualcomm chips will help the kingdom \u201ccreate a technology ecosystem that will accelerate its AI ambitions of becoming a hub of intelligent computing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The company said the AI200 and AI250 chips are expected to be commercially available in 2026 and 2027.<\/p>\n<p>READ NEXT<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"HUMAIN CEO Tarek Amin (left) and Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon.
