SO TONIGHT, DEMOCRATIC GOVERNOR, CANDIDATE FOR GOVERNOR, I SHOULD SAY, ERIC SWALWELL WAS IN SACRAMENTO DENYING ONLINE CLAIMS THAT HE BEHAVED INAPPROPRIATELY WITH FEMALE STAFFERS, POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA HAVE NOT OFFERED DETAILS OR EVIDENCE, BUT CLAIMED THE WOMEN ARE HESITANT TO COME FORWARD BECAUSE THEY SIGNED NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENTS. SO TONIGHT I ASKED HIM ABOUT THIS. DID YOU EVER BEHAVE INAPPROPRIATELY WITH FEMALE STAFFERS? NO, NO. IT\u2019S FALSE. AND ALSO SOME OF THE ALLEGATIONS I\u2019VE SEEN, WHICH IS THAT WE\u2019VE HAD NDAS IN THE OFFICE. NEVER THERE\u2019S NEVER BEEN AN ALLEGATION AND THERE\u2019S NEVER BEEN A SETTLEMENT. AND, YOU KNOW, I WILL ALSO JUST TAKE STOCK THAT WE\u2019RE WE\u2019RE 27 DAYS BEFORE AN ELECTION STARTS. WHY ADDRESS IT IF THERE ARE INTERNET RUMORS, WHY EVEN COME OUT AND ADDRESS THIS? YEAH. I DON\u2019T WANT THERE TO BE ANY QUESTION. THE BOTTOM FELL OUT. THE EAST BAY CONGRESSMAN, WHO IS MARRIED WITH THREE KIDS, DID NOT ADDRESS THE RUMORS DURING THE TOWN HALL AT THE SCOTTISH RITE MASONIC CENTER. When asked directly about the allegations, Swalwell said, &#8220;No. No. It&#8217;s false. And also, you know, some of the allegations I&#8217;ve seen, which is that we&#8217;ve had NDAs in the office, have never. There&#8217;s never been an allegation, and there&#8217;s never been a settlement.
