{"id":257345,"date":"2026-04-08T09:17:33","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T09:17:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/257345\/"},"modified":"2026-04-08T09:17:33","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T09:17:33","slug":"hearing-delayed-in-h-street-murder-case-suspects-due-in-court-next-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/257345\/","title":{"rendered":"Hearing delayed in H Street murder case; suspects due in court next month"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 The hearing for the two men accused of hitting <a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/34-year-old-bakersfield-man-found-dead-on-h-street-identified-kern-county-california\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">34-year-old Justin Leon Randle<\/a> with a vehicle, beating him to death, and leaving him in the street has been postponed until next month, according to the Kern County court website.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/search?find=Salvador%20Daniel%20Gutierrez\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Salvador Daniel Gutierrez<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/search?find=Alberto+Felix\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Alberto Felix <\/a>are accused of murdering Randle in the 1100 block of H Street, when Bakersfield police found his body at around 2:44 a.m. on June 7, 2025.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"FILE: Alberto Felix appears in court on Friday, shielded by his attorney. (KBAK\/KBFX)<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents, Felix was in a car with two other suspects when the driver, Gutierrez, allegedly accelerated toward 34-year-old Justin Randle, who was standing alone in a parking lot. Randle was struck and ran away.<\/p>\n<p>Court documents revealed that Felix and Gutierrez then chased Randle toward 11th and H streets, where they allegedly beat him until he lost consciousness. Randle was left in the road and was later run over by an uninvolved driver.<\/p>\n<p>The Kern County coroner determined in July 2025 that Randle died from blunt injuries, and his death was ruled a homicide.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/second-suspect-arrested-in-h-street-murder-records-kern-county-superior-court-california-june-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Guiterrez was arrested on March 17, 2026<\/a>, after evading law enforcement since Feb. 2026.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Salvador Daniel Gutierrez, 24.
