<\/a>Darryl Roundtree, 67, was fatally hit by a vehicle in Long Beach Saturday night, police said.<\/p>\n\nThe victim was identified as Darryl Roundtree.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nThe collision occurred at approximately 7:50 p.m. near Pacific Place and West Wardlow Road. According to a preliminary investigation, Roundtree was walking across the street when he was struck by a 2025 Subaru Crosstrek that was headed south on Pacific Place. Tragically, he died at the scene despite life-saving efforts.<\/p>\n
\nPolice said the Subaru remained at the crash site.<\/p>\n
