All eastbound lanes of the Caldecott Tunnel reopened Thursday afternoon, about two hours after a collision shut down lanes and backed up traffic into Oakland.<\/p>\n
As of 3:25 p.m., all lanes of Bore 2 had reopened, according to the California Highway Patrol, but traffic was still snarled in the eastbound direction.<\/p>\n
The crash in Bore 2 was reported about 1:30 p.m., and both Bore 2 and Bore 3 were subsequently closed to traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n
About 2:30 pm., the CHP said on social media that Bore 3 had reopened.<\/p>\n
Information about injuries in the collision wasn’t available.<\/p>\n
